Passionate about leather as we are, we never move to a place without checking what there is to see there that concerns leather, near or far.
This is how we have identified museums, libraries and other places across Europe for you.
FRANCE
PARIS
The Forney library, in the Marais, is a mine of works on applied arts, and has a department on leather which is worth a visit.
At the Mazarine library, you can admire the work tables in which hot-stamped desk pads are embedded with their place number.
Almost everywhere in France, leather is in the spotlight. Here is a list of dedicated places.

But it sometimes happens that we encounter leather in a more unexpected way, for example while doing the Chapelles circuit from PEISEY NANCROIX in Savoie. In some of them, there are so-called leather antependium. Magnificent.
This is how we discovered CELINE BONNOT-DICONNE, a (the?) great specialist in the restoration of leather works. Thanks to its exceptional know-how, hangings and other decorations are visible in museums such as that of Vieil Aix, Nice, and others.
Almost everywhere in Europe, leather is on display.
